The Nile River Dinner Cruise | Egypt 1
What a way to end our 13 day tour of Jordan, Israel and Egypt – a fun, relaxing and entertaining Cruise along the river Nile in Cairo. We arrived early to be able to get the best seats, and were fortunate to be at best level where you can comfortably watch Cairo’s illuminated skyline as you cruise along the world’s longest waterway.
Although feeling tired from the two week long tour, everyone had smiles on their faces, on a dancing mood after partaking of a sumptuous buffet meal. The singer sang old romantic popular songs, two of which are heard on this video. The belly dancing performance was a hit as expected however a surprise performance capped the night, the unforgettable tannoura spin, in keeping with Egypt’s whirling dervishes tradition. One member of the group, Cynthia got the surprise of her life when she was approached by the Tannoura performer and requested to go on stage to don the colorful costume.
Watch the video to appreciate our memorable experience in Egypt.
