There’s snow in Holland!
It’s only November but already pretty cold for me. I had to blink a few times to check if I really saw the snow icon on my mobile. Yes, dear travelers, snow! If yesterday, I have been lazy to bring out the sweaters, caps, gloves and scarves, today got me bringing out the heavy winter gear.
If you’re planning to fly to the Netherlands or Europe this December, be prepared! You just might experience one of the whitest landscapes ever.
Bundle up. Bring lots of colorful winter pieces to keep you warm and add some contrast to those planned memorable shots.
Moisturize! I remember friends who were traveling during spring, and they complained of cracked lips and sensitive hands. Make sure you bring your favorite hand creams, moisturizer and lip balm. Broken skin can be quite painful, specially when it’s windy. Besides, you don’t want to stay stuck indoors all the time, right?
Improve your immune system before leaving home. Some of you may not be prepared to experience such drastic weather change specially if you live in Asia. A few weeks before departing, make sure you’ve improved your nutrition, and if necessary, started taking a food supplement.
